We had an incredible view from the window overlooking the river and the meadow. In the evening and morning sun one could spend hours watching it.

The høyfjellsenter in Hovden gives you a great starting point for hikes. The senter itself is located 1 km outside of the village center, great to walk and easy accessible. We visited during the summer, but I think during winter it is a great place to ski. Our cottage was clean and spacious. Beds were good. The staff is really nice and helpfully.
