Located just 100 metres from the beach, La Maison d’Emilie dates back from the 19th Century and features sea views, antique furniture and chandeliers. It is 2 km from La Butte de Caumont Park. Decorated in pastel colours, the rooms provide garden views, a flat-screen TV and a wardrobe. They are complete with en suite bathroom and offer free Wi-Fi access. A continental breakfast is available every morning and can be served on the hotel’s balcony. Ideally located in the centre of Houlgate, guests can sample local cuisine within walking distance. A beautiful house very well located - quiet yet only a couple of minutes from beach and shops.We had a large room with well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was very good, served in interesting belle epoque room. Parking very secure. We hope to return for a longer stay.There is much to see in the area.

It was very quaint but breakfast was only continental and my husband does like to have the option of cooked breakfast. We stayed for 3 nights and found the room spacious and very clean.

The continental breakfast was very good. We arrrived later than expected and Nadine kindly made us a pot of tea which was ver welcome. The hotel is very close to the sea and very quiet.Everyone was friendly and helpful.

“Beautiful and very comfortable and in an excellent location. In our view though it is more a b&b than a hotel.”
The building is beautiful and with lots of history. It is very clean, comfortable and peaceful. The room and bed, shower etc all of high quality. The location is perfect by the town and just 2 minutes walk from the wonderful beach. If you want a b&b we highly recommend it.
