Overview
Norwide - Hossan Lomakeskus is located in Hossa Nature Park in Suomussalmi. Free WiFi is available at the main building, restaurant and reception. Hossan Lomakeskus offers traditional cottages as well as modern rooms, each with a private bathroom a balcony with great views of the lake. The cottages feature a private sauna, a living room, TV and well-equipped kitchens. There is a modern and large electric sauna next to the beach in front of the lake, accessible from 16:00 until 21:00. Canoe, bicycle rental is available on site. Local dishes are available in the cosy, traditional atmosphere of the hotel restaurant. A buffet breakfast is served every morning. Staff can help arrange numerous activities like hiking, dog sledding, bear watching and fishing. Kuusamo city centre is 76 km away.

“Wonderful.”
Absolutely fantastic place. We enjoyed our three night stay here in an Ecolodge which was beautifully clean and comfortable,the site was peaceful and the view from our lodge lovely. Although not fully open and with a limited evening menu the team could not have done enough for us and were really friendly and helpful. The food in the evening was wonderful, catering to our vegetarian diet and breakfast was simply amazing. We split our stay here returning for our final night after three days and the staff remembered us. We could imagine that it would be a lively place for sports and outdoor enthusiasts especially winter sports later in the year but it was perfect for our needs.

“That´s not the way to do things”
Cottage with sauna suited us perfectly. Dinner on the evening was good and reasonable priced. We didn´t take breakfast so cannot comment that.

Ecolodge was really nice place to stay overnight. I really enjoyed the he view to the lake from big window. The sauna was really good as well. I used both saunas and liked them a lot. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Good value for money. Cabins would need a bit of refurbish! We had two mice in the trap? One heater did not work. Excellent breakfast and dinner!
