“Great stay”
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The check-in process was smooth and easy, which made the arrival very comfortable. The room was a good size, well-designed, and had everything I needed. The hotel itself is beautiful, with great infrastructure and attention to detail. Everything was clean, and the overall experience was very pleasant. I also had a very nice breakfast in the morning. It’s a pity I couldn’t extend my stay for more days, as the hotel was fully booked. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect location for access to the business I was visiting, and for the excellent nearby naval museum. Characterful building. Very peaceful & quiet. Exceptionally good staff, welcoming and very helpful. Tasty breakfast and evening meal.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. A lovely peaceful atmosphere I'm an historic building.The breakfast was very good and the dinner was delicious.We slept in a separate annexe where most of the guest rooms are but we were happy with this arrangement

Historic, well maintained main building from 1883 with old paintings and classic library. Modern, clean rooms in annex. Good breakfast, buffet and limited a la carte menu. Quiet location on former military base close to naval and photography museum. 15 minutes walk to town centre.

The three courses dinner was excellent, together with the wine packet. it was also wonderful to sit outside, joining a cup of coffee or a bottle om home brewed beer.
