Ursula is an incredible host. The moment we arrived at the property we were wholeheartedly welcomed, provided information on the plethora of activities to do in the area, issued a guest card (which gives access to the extensive local public transport network) and given access to our pristinely clean room. Our room was generously sized, impeccably kept, and the balcony had views of the beautiful scenery. The property is located along the river, has parking, with signage along the road for easy direction. Breakfast was made to order with fresh buns, an egg, yogurt, cold cheese and meet platter, along with a beverage of choice. The warmth, cleanliness, and attention to detail absolutely exceeded our expectations.

“I Found Perfect Peace Here!”

I wanted peace and quiet. This place is perfect for that! There is a river right in front and walking paths leading into the Black Forest. The house is safe, peaceful and quiet. The host is very sweet!

This was one of nicest place that I stayed during a 10 day trip around Europe. The Gästehaus is located in a beautiful location near a river. The reception at the hotel is unique, the hostess (Ms. Ursula) gives us all the information about the city, the guest card, and lots of other interesting things to do around. She also writes down everything you like for the breakfast with is something really unique. Unfortunately I only stayed one night, because I was just traveling back to Frankfurt to catch my flight back home, but the experience to being so well received is something you won’t see anywhere else. The gästehaus itself deserves five starts, it’s so clean and neat. The breakfast was also amazing, with many different kinds of high quality food. This is a place you don’t get to see anymore, I hope Ms. Ursula can live for many years and keep running the business.
