“Lovely location in a beautiful old building.”
The setting is beautiful. The terras around the pond looked lovely. Although it seems that the hotel has seen better times everything is clean, tidy comfortable and well looked after. The owner and the staff were lovely, helpful and super friendly. It was a pity that the beer garden did not seem to be open for now.

The location is beautiful. Also, the room was very big, although I don’t see the need for two bathrooms, it still had it. The view from the hotel is great and there are many options for walks in the direct vicinity. The receptionist speaks very good English, which is really handy if your German is not that good at times.

“Very charming, will come back again!”
It is a charming family run hotel in the middle of the forest. We had a wonderful and very big room with a balcony overlooking the small lake. The staff was super nice and I felt at home. I hope they will not change a thing, it was very charming and I hope it stays like this forever, there are not many old fashioned (in a good way!) hotels like this anymore

The Waldhotel is still very German and they deliberately have stopped the time as a counterweight to today's society. Not everything has to be renewed all the time.

“Great start at a beautiful place!”
The location is beautiful. The hotel staff is really nice and helpful. The food at the restaurant is excellent and very varied. Great wines too! The beds are super comfortable and the positions of the beds can be adjusted which is a huge plus. The room has a nice selection of fruits and chocolate. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be coming back!

“Oasis for hikers”
The dipper in the brook and the grey wagtail near the pond; otherwise the friendly staff, comfy bed, breakfast, the coffee machine along with other refreshments in the room and the peaceful atmosphere of the whole place!
