“We will definitely be booking at Hörgsland Guesthouse again and can recommend it without hesitation.”
Our road trip around Iceland meant that we only stayed at Hörgsland Guesthouse for one night. This was a really shame as we really enjoyed both the property and its location. Next time we are in Iceland and plan to pass this way we will definitely be booking at Hörgsland Guesthouse again. We can recommend Hörgsland Guesthouse without hesitation.

If it were a quarter of the price, I would rate it a 7. It's near a glacier, there was nothing else available nearby. I wouldn't recommend it.

Great breakfast and a convenient room option to have shared bathroom, but private toilet. Shared kitchen and shared space is also nice and well equipped.

“Still a.comfortable stay for 1nite and the bonus was ww saw the northern lighs at nite.and in morng.”
Location though that small road infront of property donhabe cars and traffic innthe night too. Pls be aware. Apartment is compact and the 2 single beds on attic have lower ceiing anf though to climb the steepnstairs even for petite asians.

The staff were only too helpful and accommodating of our request for a takeaway breakfast as we wanted to go on a pre-dawn shoot. One of the better breakfast buffets we have experienced on 3 trips to Iceland.

“Hostel type accommodation , overpriced .”
Good location for driving to glaciers. We had room25, private bathroom , very clean . Small...as you would expect in a hostel, but adequate for 2. The guest house seemed quiet visitor wise..glad as it would get noisey otherwise. Some nice little chill out spaces in the house, and kettle / microwave.

Absolutely loved this apartment in the middle of nature — it was clean, beautifully designed, and offered stunning view. If you visit in winter and the sky is clear, you have a real chance to see the Northern Lights right from the property, which was magical. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. I’m definitely coming back!
