Overview
With a restaurant and a pristine beach area, Thatch Caye Resort is located on a private island in Dangriga. This incredible resort offers guests on-site dive facilities and kayaks to explore the area. The bungalows at the property boast excellent 180-degree sea views from their private overhang patios. They include ceiling fans, tiled floors and a private bathroom with hot water. The cottages feature a roof-top deck. A wide range of Belizean and International dishes are served at the property’s restaurant, and guests can also enjoy drinks at the Starfish Bar. Activities like fly fishing and tours to mainland destinations can be arranged by the resort.

We loved the location, the views from the bed, the hammocks, the food and the sunset cocktail bar! And the activities especially the snorkelling and the very warm welcome from the team!

“This place is Paradise. Stay here.”
Simply Paradise. Honestly this place exceeded our expectations. From the start we were greeted by the friendly pickup team who supplied a much needed cold beer. Arriving at the island we were stunned by the beauty and how well maintained it is. All the staff were excellent, especially the receptionist, extremely funny and helpful and the chef who crafted us some amazing meals. Our overwater cabana was exactly what it looked like online. just beautiful waking up over the ocean with a sunrise. Aircon, clean, well equipped, comfortable bed and good bathroom. There is a bar, many spots to chill and games should you get bored with relaxing in paradise.

“Perfect”
Flawless grounds , flawless staff , communal dinner was great to get to meet other guests , catered to special events really well - cannot fault ! very clean large room in overwater bungalow
