This was really fabulous. Beautiful, comfortable room, nice bathroom; and the hydrotherapy pool after 32km on the Camino was amazing! They also did a wonderful communal pilgrims’ dinner.

Lovely stay, in the beautiful town of Hontanas. We treated ourselves to the spa too, which was lovely. We had a delicious paella for dinner too. I would definitely recommend this place!

Stayed here on our Camino walk. Beautiful clean room and exceptional pilgrims meal with an alternative option to eat in the restaurant if preferred. There is a new spa treatment centre which looked terrific but it closed at 6pm so we missed it.

We stayed in the private room option which was exceptional. Paul who checked us in and showed around, first class host and good human. The hydrotherapy pool is a true oasis in a desert. After 2 weeks on the Camino, pun intended was 'heaven sent!'. Certainly, the place to do a stay over to use the hydrotherapy area.

“Wonderful Stay”
We loved our stay here. It is a house with self contained rooms around a lovely lounge room. Also had a nice outdoor area with an area to hand wash your clothes. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The room was warm, cosy, clean and very comfortable. We paid to use the spa pool (a short walk up the road), just what we needed to massage our aching feet and calves. An hour of bliss for 15 euro each We absolutely loved the community dinner of paella held at the Santa Brigida Albergue, delicious and great company.

This is a beautiful place to stay. We indulged in a private room which was exceptional. This has been the best stay on our camino journey. The communal dinner at the albergue was fantastic and food great. Recommend you stay here and enjoy this gem on the camino.
