Although it is located far from the last stop of the kumano kodo trail, it is close to the bus terminal and the supermarket. The room was nice and clean as well as a well equipped kitchen to cook whatever you like. Don't expect to have any nice view from your room window (the guesthouse is located between the bus terminal and a parking lot) but for a night sleep before heading to your next stop it is enough

Really nice little place and nice people. Well equipped.

The owner was very helpful with bus schedules, where to shop for groceries and other useful recommendations. She was a tremendous help. The guesthouse itself was new and modern and very well equipped. It was perfect as a last night’s stay after completing the Kumano Kodo Kohechi before taking the bus to the start of the Kumano Kodo Nakahechi.

Great place to stay!

The place is well located close to part of the kumano kodo trail. There is a well equipped kitchen, washing machines, dryers and even a shoe dryer which saved us after a long day hiking in the rain. The host was very nice, when we missed our bus she offered to drive us to Hondu station and saved our day!

The store that was right next to the guest house was fantastic, best in the area. Great options for pre prepared and to prepare yourself. Clean rooms Full kitchen Laundry facilities We ordered the meal prepared for us the first evening and it was delicious, highly recommend.

it's home-like style, sweet, really reasonable price. u can find anything u need for cooking, also snacks for travellers who miss the local shops. And snacks and laundry are not priced, just politely put a donation jar there

A quiet and clean place to stay if you haven’t quite made it to the end of the pilgrimage walk, or you want to do a short walk and stay away from the main crowds in Hongu Taisha. The road stop nearby has a mini supermarket with everything you will need that closes at 6:30, if you’re a bit later the hostel has some instant noodles you can buy by donation.

Everything was perfect, the room was spacious and had a very comfortable queen sized bed, the place was quiet and you can get a good night sleep. The shared facilities are clean and the kitchen is quite big. I enjoyed a beautiful sunset in the porch. The guy working there was super friendly and helpful. A good location if you want to shorten the walk to Hongu.
