From the very first moment, you immediately perceive what makes the St. Regis truly one of a kind: the level of attention you receive from everyone—literally every member—of the hotel staff. From reception to room service, from the concierge to the telephone operator, you are always addressed by name. And very well treated, it must be emphasized. We stayed in a Deluxe Room with two queen beds, which was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and varied, with impeccable service. The concierge service is exactly as it should be: helpful, friendly, efficient, and with a thorough knowledge of the city and its attractions. In short, a first-class hotel that does everything possible to make guests feel at home. Our six nights were more than enough to reveal the person responsible for the hotel’s outstanding service: the General Manager, Mr. Richard Taffs. His omnipresence—we encountered him in the lobby, at the champagne sabering ceremony, at the gym, and even at the porte-cochère, tirelessly moving about—clearly leaves its imprint on the excellent service delivered by the entire team.
