“not pleasant”
I would like to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations I had for a hotel of this standard. Firstly, the breakfast provided was very disappointing. The variety of food was extremely limited, and the taste and quality were below expectations. In my opinion, the breakfast experience was comparable to that of a 2–3 star hotel rather than the standard your hotel claims to provide. Secondly, I was very frustrated by the repeated reminders from the hotel staff regarding additional deposits and potential spending within the hotel. Although we had already paid a deposit of HKD 3,000 upon check-in and had spoken to the front desk about this matter, your staff continued to contact us several times and even rang our doorbell to request a top-up of the deposit. This made us feel as though the hotel was overly concerned that guests might leave without settling their bills, creating the impression that customers were not trusted or financially capable of paying their expenses. Such repeated disturbances significantly affected our comfort and enjoyment during our stay. This was my first stay at your hotel, and regrettably, it will also be my last. In addition, I had requested a small room upgrade or special arrangement in celebration of my belated birthday. While I appreciated the gesture of receiving a mango cake, the cake did not meet the quality expected from a hotel of this reputation. It did not appear fresh and was far below the standard I had anticipated. Overall, I am deeply disappointed with both the service quality and guest experience provided during my stay. I hope the management will seriously review these matters and make improvements to ensure future guests receive the level of hospitality they deserve. The hotel has a really good location, the staff was nice and friendly, they helped us sorting out our taxi bill as the driver only accepted cash and we did not have any (as we just arrived from China where you can't even pay by cash anymore).
