Newly renovated in 2018, The Sheung Wan features rooms with free WiFi, private and shared room options, co-working space, and a Mexican tapas eatery and bar, Te Quiero Mucho. The Sheung Wan is a 2-minute walk from the Soho District and a 3-minute walk from Sheung Wan MTR Station. It is a 2-minute walk from Gough Street and a 7-minute walk from the popular Lan Kwai Fong. The Hong Kong International Airport is a 40-minute drive away. Air-conditioned private guestrooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels and Apple TV. “Good overall stay”
Our room had a nice view out, as it was high up. With a good location. Everything was clean and tidy. Dedicated aircon kept the room cool.

“A disappointing stay. would notr stay again.”
A very dusty room. A thick layer of dust under the bed and on many surfaces in the bathroom and mirrors. Curtains dirty and hanging off the rails. Lights not working in the bathroom, so too dark to apply makeup. Only one pillow each. very thin. Had to ask for more. The TV did not work. It was "fixed" which took two days, the next day it was not working again. So in the 9 days, only a couple of hours of working. We just gave up.

“Stay somewhere else”
Disappointed in this hotel. I booked it based on the photos which wasn’t the best idea. As you can see from other reviews the hotel is really shoddy and they don’t put money into proper cleaning. Rooms are grubby with lots of mould issues in the bathroom. Rooms are really small also, awkwardly small. I now have bruises on the legs from banging into the bed every time I want to move around the room. Would NOT recommend!

“Overall it was over rated. It is old an not well maintained. Location wise is good.”
Overall location is good as it is juts 5-8 mins walk to Sheung Wan MRT station. Very good for traveler that prefers to take train then Taxi. Variety of Eatery also walking distance from hotel such as local Chinese food, Japanese, café and fast food. Groceries, pharmacy, 7 eleven are also available for traveler to purchase goods.

Great location. Comfortable and clean enough for a short stay. Large windows. Spacious communal kitchen and lounge area on 3/F. Twin bed room is good for 1 person but small for 2 people to share. Great shower!
