“would not recommend”
we have previously stayed here and booked again but day before we were meant to arrive my mother in law passed and i messaged the hotel to explain and ww had already paid in full for 3 nights total over £400. they didn’t reply until the day of arrival and told me i was not getting any monies or a credit back and looked forward to my n next stay!!! i don’t think so …….. they really so not have a heart

“A great find. A lovey place to stay in a great location, with a great host!”
This hotel was one of the highlights of our three week journey through France. It is a little gem, within walking distance of Honfleur, with its many harbour side restaurants. The host was so welcoming and helpful. He showed us to our room, recommended restaurants and gave us a brief history of the property. Our room was beautiful. Double aspect, with views over the lovely, peaceful gardens. Our bedroom and bathroom were huge, beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. Lovely quality linen and a very comfortable bed. In the garden is a gate which takes you to a footpath, leading to the center of Honfleur. This is a real bonus as the center is not very car friendly! We didn't follow our hosts recommendations (which was a mistake!) but ate in the restaurants by the harbour. The food was OK, but you would be better eating in the town, and having a drink by the harbour. In the hotel, we had a freshly made breakfast, delicious French toast and a huge selection of pastries, cakes, eggs, meats etc. We will definitely return here. It is an ideal place to stay before returning to Caen ferry port, or for a first night stay when arriving in France. Nothing was too much trouble, the house and grounds are beautiful and we were very well looked after. Thank you so much to our host, who does as superb job! Make sure you follow the directions carefully. We were not at all sure where the directions were taking us, but what a treat once we arrived!

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of private parking. Short drive into Honfleur or a 10/15 minute walk. The gardens were lovely and quiet and very peaceful. Highly recommended.

Beautifully renovated old mill with high quality finishes and decoration done with taste. The after hours check in was smooth, staff incredibly kind, the bed and accommodations very comfortable. The breakfast was really good, tasty local products.

“Amazing and perfect”
Nice and calm place, staff is amazing and always happy. Very welcoming and high sense of hospitality. Rooms are big and the bathroom is just romantic and everything is more than perfect. They are taking care of all the details even the tiny ones. I strongly recommend this place and I will definitely come back again and again.
