“Hidden gem shhhh!”

This is a real gem of a property - walkable to restaurants and bars. Short drive (20 mins) to Warth ski lifts. Clean comfortable and excellent quality. Appreciated the separate toilets.

I had a wonderful stay at Gästehaus Huber. Everything was spotlessly clean, and Valentina the owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made me feel at home right away. The location in the beautiful village of Holzgau was perfect and added so much charm to my stay. I would happily come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

“Perfect Alpine Retreat!”

I stayed here for 1 night and had an amazing experience. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful—she made me feel right at home. The kitchen was fully available and well-equipped, which was a huge plus. The Alpine surroundings were breathtaking, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I’d love to return!

“Warm welcome, comfy stay, great for LechWeg hikers”

We stayed at Gästehaus Huber Holzgau during our LechWeg hike and had a wonderful experience. The location is easy to reach and perfect for walkers on the trail. Vallentina was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even allowing for a late arrival. Dirk gave a friendly, thorough tour of the house. Our room was clean, cosy, and had a nice balcony and a small fridge, with breakfast included in the price. The house is a bit outdated, but that’s reflected in the price and didn’t affect our comfort. A last-minute laundry request was no problem, and Vallentina helped us out, which was incredibly convenient after a long day on the trail. Overall, a warm, welcoming stay with attentive hosts and good value. Highly recommended for hikers and travelers seeking a comfortable base in Holzgau.

“Excellent choice for long-distance hikes and dail tours”

The location is perfect - it is very close to hiking trails. It is particularly good if you are walking the Lechweg as it is right on the trail . The rooms are super comfortable, staff extremely nice and the simple „help yourself „ breakfast is excellent- great for getting you going!

“Very cute place, very friendly people”

We absolutely loved this place!!! It's in the cutest little village, and the couple running it simply could not be nicer! Our key and a welcome message waited for us on arrival, and later the owners checked in to see if we needed anything. We had a very spacious little apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, in addition to the big kitchen for communal use downstairs. Two balconies, one West facing the other East facing - two WCs and a very clean bathroom rounded it all off. We'll be back if we can!

The house is very clean and nice. With warm and cozy atmosphere. You have everything needed in the kitchen. And Dirk - the guy who took care of us, was very nice and helpful all the time.

The hosts made us feel most welcome throughout our stay. The guesthouse is cozy, with spotless rooms, extremely comfortable beds, and stunning views. Several restaurants are within walking distance, and all essential services are available in the village. Just a 15-minute drive to Warth, making it an excellent and peaceful basecamp for a ski trip. While no formal breakfast was offered, this was not an issue. The lounge downstairs always had bread, cookies, and other snacks available, along with an espresso machine. We chose for a room with a kitchen but could have easily managed without it. Would highly recommend!
