“A good choice for a family or group of friends to stay in Hólmavík.”
The house has lot of character, well situated in the older part of Hólmavík and close to the main restaurant and the witchcraft museum. The beds are comfortable and all basic facilities in place for a short or extended stay.

The place was clean and cozy overall, with a unique atmosphere. That said, the decor gave off a bit of a haunted vibe — old family photos and children's clothes displayed as wall art made it feel a little eerie at times. I’d definitely recommend booking the whole place if you’re a group of 5 or more. It’s much more comfortable having people you know around, especially since neighbors can be loud and the setup is better suited for a private stay.

The guesthouse is really cute and cosy, and the person I had on the phone while checking in was lovely (also I forgot my charger the next day, and they were a great help). The beds were comfortable, the kitchen has all facilities needed. The bathroom was spotless. The location is great, in front of the sorcery museum, and very close to the cafe riis (delicious) and the brewery (also delicious). Overall a great stay in a great little town!
