Smelt of weed all the time. So dirty. Linen stained. Didn’t feel safe. Checks out early and was refused a refund

“Disappointing”
We weren’t expecting much but when we walked in we saw the pillow cases were yellow, and bed sheets had hairs in them. Told the staff and they replaced it. However went to take a shower and out of the all the towels only one hand towel did not have some sort of bodily fluid on it. Got new ones, from the lobby. But when you rent a room minimum you expect is clean towels and clean sheets. If it wasn’t so late at night we would have left and checked in somewhere else. When we mentioned it to staff felt like it was normal, and noticed several other guests that night with similar experiences. Extremely disappointed.

“Simple, comfortable, affordable, clean and stress free.”
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The customer service by the front desk staff was amazing. I arrived an hour early, and she ( I forgot her name, my apologies, but she was the first shift person) allowed me to check in early with no issues. The room I chose initially, was next to the side door and she suggested another room for me, because she didn't want me to be bothered by the loud noise of the door opening and closing which was so thoughtful of her. The breakfast was really good. eggs, biscuit and gravy, muffins, bagels, fruit, coffee, oatmeal etc. My room was clean and it smelled great. I stayed 3 nights (just myself) and total was $260 including taxes, fees etc which was a great rate in my opinion. The house keepers were nice, always punctual and respectful. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, I had no issues, with wifi, or any of the amenities, I loved the mirrors (no they are not two way mirrors) the bed was comfy, and there were plenty of towels and toiletries. I have no complaints and I want to thank Microtel for making my stay an amazing one and stress free. I was worried initially because of the reviews, mistakes happen we are human, but my experience was only positive, Definitely recommend.

“I would highly recommend”
Staff was nice. Room was updated and clean. Breakfast offerings - above the normal "continental" that one receives at most places. We picked this location because it was just off the highway as we were returning from our last day of vacation. Discovered that Mt. Pigsah Dune Climb Boardwalk was 20mins away, so after checking out we made a detour there. So I'll add that the location to local sites is great too!

“I would recommend this hotel”
I was pleasantly surprised with brightness and cleanliness of the room. We felt that we were in a safe area. My husband and I stayed in the accessibility room 133. I liked the nightlights on each light switch. We also liked the hot breakfast provided. Biscuits and gravy. If I were to eat them again, I think I might micro the biscuits first. They also had a pancake machine, sausage/egg/cheese bagels, usual carbs, cereals, oatmeal, juices and coffee. We had a quiet,, restful night. We would recommend this hotel.

“Will not return, unclean and uncomfortable.”
The staff was friendly however Room was unclean and run down. Bathroom sink was uncleaned and a layer of filth covered most surfaces. I had to purchase my own cleaning supplies.
