“Amazing central hotel - perfect stay!”

Spotlessly clean - room cleaned every day. Pool area was nice and not too busy as there are only a few rooms. Isra was very helpful from when we arrived and notifying us about the ferry schedule. Hotel room was fabulous and balcony was amazing! So close to the main center and beach too. Would definitely recommend staying here when in Holbox! Also had a massage in fhe room which was lovely. Try the cafe Complemento nearby!

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Rooms look exactly like the photos. But note, there is partial divide between the bathroom and main bedroom with no door. Isra and his team were very attentive in arranging transport to the port, suggesting activities and restaurants on the island and were very welcoming. We would absolutely stay again!

“An absolute hidden gem for couples and solo this is perfection!”

I think this place is an absolute hidden gem! I had stayed on a beach front hotel for 10 days and it was good. However it was a family hotel so the noise wasn't great for me as a solo traveller. Additionally once I got into the rooms of Tierra Del Mar i realised the absolute step up in class. It says this is a 3 star hotel, in terms of the service, and the quality of the whole place, it is way above this! I like most people go on and choose the hotel on the sea front and I did this for the previous one. I was just fortunate to walk past one day and looked in through the small door. Its an absolute gem and perfect at just 8 rooms. So super intimate. The location to the beach is literally a 1-2 minute walk and its energy is perfect in comparison to what can be a busier beach. Breakfast options weren't many but there are so many good cafes within a few minutes it made no difference at all to me. Also the staff i have to say were exceptional, amazing local recommendations for food and just couldn't do enough for you. I don't write too many recommendations considering i've been travelling round the world the last year and have stayed at in excess of 60 places.. This is in my top 4 of the whole trip!

The property was a gem of a find. With only six rooms, it felt exclusive and peaceful – and as a couple, having the whole hotel to ourselves made it even more special. The pool was spotless, the sunbeds were perfect for relaxing, and yet it was only a five-minute walk to all the places you’d want easy access to. A great spot for a quiet, private getaway.

Fantastic hotel – relaxed atmosphere yet right in the heart of everything. The staff are incredibly friendly, and I highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Very aesthetically pleasing!

“Fantastic location in the most beautiful island”

We had a wonderful stay at Tierra del Mar in Holbox! The location is perfect — just a short stroll from the beach and close enough to everything while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Our room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. The only downside is the toilet is behind the bed. A special shoutout to Isra, the manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend Tierra del Mar if you’re looking for a charming and well-run place to stay in Holbox!
