“Nice but could use some love”

Nice staff, cute cabins, many amenities. Good location close to beach club, breakfast included nice. Many staff take good care of site, they rake the grounds every morning. Close contact with the reception who text you to ask for your needs, e.g. cleaning service. I'd say good for what you pay, just don't expect a new, modern accomodation. Instead, more laidback, cute, and family oriented.

small local-run hotel, with laid back vibes. We spent a whole week here and enjoyed it a lot. Very family friendly. The staff is great. The beach is 2 blocks away with its own beach club. Would definitely go again

“Third time is the charm?”

Thi was our third stay and as per usual, staff was friendly and relaxed (except Gary, even dog treats couldn't win him over). Pool was refreshing but through no fault of the hotel, the location has changed. This isn't the quiet corner of Holbox 2022, the streets leading to the beach have multiple business, taxis are available almost all hours at the corner, and there are people, people, people. Rooms were kitted with everything you need for a relaxing stay and we find the "Mexican" firm beds to be very comfortable 😀

“Great value stay for our family of 4”

Our room was fantastic (Master Suite King Bed with Partial Ocean View and Balcony) - super view, and really spacious, so we could invite our kids up to sit as a family and eat a meal, play cards etc. at the table. The staff on reception were fantastic - always ready and keen to help, and very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The breakfast team were lovely too - so helpful and friendly. The facilities were great, but at the time we visited (late August) there were lots of mosquitos in Holbox so we didn't make the most of them - there were fewer mosquitos by the sea, so we often swam there instead. All areas of the hotel felt super clean, and you could always see a member of staff keeping the communal areas clean. La Cabane pizzas are top notch (better than we had during our stay in NYC a few days before!), and it was so convenient to have them just next door, so that we could pick up a pizza after a busy day exploring. We booked a whale shark tour through the hotel, really easy, great communication and a fantastic experience

Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved our room with small kitchen and fridge. Swimming pool was a big favourite especially for our 8 year old. Very happy to spend 5 days here. The nearby Italian/Pizzaria was very good.

The hotel was clean, quiet and the stuff very kind. We liked that Ensueño is slightly outside the center and have quiet areas to relax. The outside areas are spacious and green. The beach club is also just a few minutes walking and it was very nice. We visited in low season, so it was very easy to find a spot. We enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is simply stunning – it truly took our breath away. It has a beautiful, exotic beach vibe that immediately puts you in vacation mode. The staff were exceptionally friendly, with special thanks to Hanna at the reception. She was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more memorable. The rest of the team was also fantastic, always making us feel welcome and special. The hotel has two pools, both set in gorgeous surroundings, and the views from the terraces are absolutely spectacular. Our room was beautiful and spotless, cleaned daily, and the small kitchenette was a great bonus for our stay. The location of the hotel is excellent – peaceful yet conveniently close to the town center and the harbor. The staff were always happy to help arrange transportation or book local activities. Additionally, the beach club is just a few steps away, which made it very easy to enjoy the seaside.

“A near perfect stay!”

Friendly staff - Host/owner, receptionists and breakfast lady always welcoming and super helpful with any requests we had. Room - spacious and very clean. Location - close to the beach and a 20 min walk into the centre, which although slightly long, made for a nice walk along the beach in the evenings. Breakfast - 3 simple options but really enjoyable and you can get all 3 if you’re hungry! Free drinking water - a small addition but one we really appreciated! Pool area - decent size main pool and a rooftop pool option.

Super friendly staff, very helpful even outside of hotel related questions. Pool is incredible and go check out their turtles 🐢 ! The breakfast is tasty, you can choose multiple options and they serve it super efficient and fast, with a smile :) Right outside the hotel is a little store with basic needs, a super nice pizzeria and a taqueria with delicious Mexican cuisine!

“Positive surprise!”

The quiet location away from the village but close to the beach. Loved the hotel‘s beach club! All the staff was super-friendly, we could also book a whale shark tour through them. The hotel is so cute and exotic, just loved the style. A lot of people wrote that they found the rooms too dark - I disagree. Our apartment #6 with king bed and kitchen had a lot of windows and lamps. And the walk to the village along the beach is easily done in 15-20 minutes, even in the dark. Would defenitely stay here again!
