Well equipped, clean and spacious cottage in a beautiful garden setting. Everything needed for self-catering. Good coffee, tea, and basics as well as complimentary rusks. Wood for braai and fireplace was also provided. Communication was very good and we were treated to a tour of one of the most impressive private gardens we have seen. Ample information on the area and hikes in the area provided. Thank you for a great long weekend.

What beautiful accommodation 🥰 The little doggie is so friendly too😁 Gloria was absolutely amazing, she kept us updated with all the activities happening in hogsback, and even gave maps to the different routes. Beautiful, fully-equipped home away from home. In a gorgeous location, nestled in a stunning garden setting. Gracious hosts, Gloria and Eric, who answered all questions and requests promptly. Dishwasher is a bonus! Enough coffee plungers and stovetop espresso. Electric blankets were a winner for those really cold winter nights. Enjoyed our time in the Hogsback!

The cottage set in a magnificent forest type garden blended in with the whole ambience of Hogsback as did the rustic cottage. The leafy lanes surrounding the cottage offered lovely strolls and a mere 500 metres or so from the Edge

The garden, the lovely hosts and their pets, the cottage, the books and magazines, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, every coffe- making appliance, the views, location - peace and beauty...

Altogether wonderful. Gloria and Eric are warm, kind and inspiring hosts; Gloria manages final arrangements and settling in with a personal touch. The gardens are breathtakingly beautiful. The cottage has every convenience thoughtfully provided - and delicious rusks to be enjoyed with ground coffee for either plunger or percolator - or pods. Very near Eco Shrine and The Edge restaurant and labyrinth, and stunning bird life and monkeys high up in the towering trees. Complete peace, a fireplace for reading by and views all around through sparkling, large windows. Truly exceptional.

Gloria welcomed us with a big smile and had fresh bread waiting for us. Cottage had all the comforts of home and could have stayed longer.
