Lovely old hotel which although out of season was fully operational with great management and menu options Quite difficult to find fully open hotels in Northern Sweden in May so this was brilliant

The hotel was very good, but was let down by the check-in experience. Arriving in the evening all the staff were busy with the restaurant guests. I could not get attention at reception desk even though I rang the bell several times. Later I saw another guest trying to check-in with the same problem. This was the 2nd time I have stayed at the hotel, and had the same problem during my previous stay.

The lounge area before the restaurant was really nice to sit there. Lovely fire burning. electric charge station for the car. excellent food.

“Excellent place to stay even in the summer; it must be fabulous for ski holidays. Will go back.”
Good breakfast buffet, excellent dinner menu in a cosy environment with very helpful staff. Lunch was also good, dined outside with e-ordering. The room was comfortable with great beds and duvets and it was very quiet. Overall a great location, near nature and a brand new ICA just 5 minutes drive away,which is great if you have kids.
