Everything in the room is brand new, and the furniture is lovely. Of course, the real treasure is the amazing view you can enjoy from your room, which makes your stay even more cozy and relaxing. You can truly experience authentic island vibes, with very few tourists around the area.

We liked everything. The setting is beautiful: 360 panorama. The room's window has a full view of a river, ocean, mountains, flowers and horses. Lovely! Spacious clean and well equipped and well designed room. Friendly family staff. Great breakfast with some unique variety. Excellent dinner with a view.

It is a very special place - very isolated and remote, you come for relaxation and amazing view. It is clean, comfortable and has an outstanding view, unique breakfast and relaxed hospitality. The room has great seats to look at the bay and if you are a late sleeper you can enjoy sunset and flying birds around.

The view along the river and around the mountains is just amazing, the people running the place are very nice. It is good to see that there are still some places run by locals in a very cozy, warm, Icelandic style (with music) main living room. A lot of products offered for dinner and breakfast are handmade and it is a huge plus !

Place in the middle of nothing but in a positive sense and with a gorgeous view over the fjord it's located in, we had the chance to see an amazing sunset sitting comfortably inside out window with a hot mug in hand. The breakfast was amazing with locally sourced products, they were on point with lactose intolerance.

The location was exceptional and the food was extremely good. We ate dinner and had breakfast and both were excellent. The room was well appointed and we were lucky enough to see the northern lights. It was the best hotel we stayed in during our 9 night stay and was the least expensive.
