Adorable accommodation with very well equipped shared kitchen, wish we had more time to spend there.

“Wonderful stay , clean and homey”

It was really neat to be in an Icelandic farmhouse . Check in was super clear and everything was communicated great. The little sink in the room was perfect and we were very comfortable. It was super clean and felt homey. The location was stunning. The area was also great with lots to do.

The room was very small, but sufficient for an overnight stay. The accommodation was very clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything you might need while traveling.

I don't know why this place surprised me, but it was just such a nice place to stop for our night. The view was gorgeous and the entire house was SO welcoming. I think that was the best part - I felt so welcome even without ever seeing the hosts in person. The rooms weren't huge, but they weren't the smallest ones we stayed in either. We had room for our 2 suitcases to be open on the floor. The deck was nice to get some fresh air. Breakfast was not included, but there was still coffee and muesli for us to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes/utensils for making our own meals (though we only did breakfast). I would highly recommend this stop.

Location was great for my purposes. The kitchen was superb and I appreciated the provision of food, coffee etc.

The weather suddenly changed and we had a strong storm coming. The owner of the house let us stay till the road is clear. Thanks a lot for your hospitality and I highly appreciate it

Great location especially for the northern lights. Very clean, modern, great beds and all the facilities you need to self cater. Also great to socialise with other travellers.

Although it is a shared space, the kitchen and living room were very good, everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Rooms themselves were comfortable, we had no noise from others. Showers were cleaned daily. The location is stunning and offers a perfect chance to see the Northern Lights if you are lucky. The kitchen was equipped with everything one could need for cooking, and during the two nights we stayed we enjoyed long dinners and great conversations with other guests.

Guesthouse was lovely and had a nice homely feel to it. Great location just outside of town with beautiful views all around. The kitchen was great with everything you would need.

The room was very comfortable and the house was warm. The property is very quiet and the showers were clean and had shower gel available. There was coffee and porridge oats available so we could make our own breakfast. The house is only a short drive from Hofn and was very easily found from the ring road

A big plus is the earplugs you can take if someone in the room snores ;) Large communal supplies, delicious tea, and a place to sit in front of the building. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating. the sink in the room was also useful
