Beautiful location, with a nice view and very clean the bedroom, toilets, bathroom, kitchen. Area where you can stay on terrace. Staff polite and opened to help if you need something. Bedroom spacious with super clean linen. I loved that in the kitchen you have coffee machine, enough space in the fridge, and the dinning room spacious and better even than a hotel.

Great hostel, exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean. We had a 5 bed family room and was upgraded to include ensuite. Great kitchen... lots can cook / clean at same time. Sells a few drinks like beer if you feel the urge. Big eating & card playing areas with heated floors. Paid laundry in the afternoons was quick & staff happy to help. Easy free parking.

Our family stay with children was very pleasant. The hostel was recently renovated and everything looked new and very clean. The rooms were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great place for families, and we really enjoyed our stay.

“Hostile owner, lack of privacy, and unprofessional judgment”

"I have never felt so judged and disrespected. The owner was visibly annoyed that I arrived without a prior reservation and answered my questions about bus schedules with total reluctance, as if I were a nuisance. Worst of all, she took it upon herself to lecture me and warn me not to 'start fights or cause problems' in her hotel, based on a personal situation that happened hours before my arrival in a different city. She didn't even realize who she was talking to: a 53-year-old man who knows how to behave wherever he goes. She showed zero concern for my well-being; instead, she treated me with suspicion and even spied on me as I was leaving. This is the first time in my life I have ever given such a low rating to a place, but her behavior was unacceptable. A person like this makes Iceland a little more unpleasant, which is a shame given how beautiful this country is. Avoid this place."

The kitchen is amazing!! It has absolutely everything you could want and more and it is very clean and well maintained.
