“A very enjoyable experience in a special setting.”
This hotel has the most beautiful outlook surrounded by glacial mountains. We loved our corner room. Dinner was delicious. So lovely to enjoy the Icelandic landscape.

Stunning view from the rooms both on the mountain side and glacier side. Staff was very welcoming at the reception, bar and restaurant. Really make you feel comfortable. Room and bathroom are spacious and bright.

“Remote location, perfect for Northern lights viewing”
The highlight was seeing the northern lights! The hotel is in a remote location with beautiful views. The rooms are a good size, although the bed felt narrow. The staff were nice and friendly, particularly in the evening.

Beautiful designer hotel with great views to the glacier or mountains. Relatively new. Rooms were large and bright and very liveable. Hotel restaurant very high quality but in the expensive side. Hotel is about 10 min drive out of town so the only downside is you are really captive to the hotel for food options. But they were high quality so that was not a big issue for a 1 night stay.

Really good hotel "in the wilderness" en route to Höfn. The view from our room towards the green plains and mountains was breathtaking. Nice service and full continental breakfast.

Poor value for money. Paying €330 a night and having to shower with flip-flops because the shower is filthy is a first for me.
