Overview
This peaceful hotel lies beside the Taunus Mountains. It is a 10-minute walk from Hofheim’s old town and a 20-minute drive from Frankfurt Airport. Landhotel Burkartsmühle offers rustic-style rooms in its main historical building, and modern rooms in the new wing. All rooms offer cable TV and countryside views. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and cycling. A hot breakfast buffet is served daily and guests can enjoy traditional German cuisine in the restaurant. Guests can eat on Landhotel’s terrace during warm weather, and relax with a beer in the traditional Irish pub. Hofheim am Taunus Train Station is 1.5 km away, and trains run to Frankfurt city centre in 20 minutes. Mainz and Wiesbaden are 20 minutes away by car.

Lovely location and very polite and welcoming staff. The Indian Tandoori restaurant was probably the best Indian restaurant I have been too! The breakfast was also very good!

“Excellent value hotel”
Well cared for hotel with all the basics needed. The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Cleaning was excellent and the quietness of the location much appreciated. Walking to Hofheim and into the woods was so easy and the attached Indian restaurant was of an excellent quality.

“Beautiful old building, friendly staff but lacking renovation”
Its a beautiful old building in a nice area and walking distance to the city centre. The staff is friendly, dogs are welcome and it's all quite uncomplicated.

“Little gem with great potential to return to former glory”
This is a simple hotel situated in a nice and quiet location near the woods. The rooms with views into nature were very quiet, peaceful, comfortable and adequate for our needs and presented value for money. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. At the backside of the hotel there is now a very good Indian restaurant frequented by locals. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and cycling, p.ex. to the "Meisterturm", an observation tower with great 360° views and adjacent lovely little restaurant with a Biergarten.

“We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.”
The room was really comfortable for 2 adults and a toddler. It was a good size and the shower had really good pressure. The view from the room was beautiful with views of the forest.
