“Friendly, quiet and simple set up!”
The staff were lovely and friendly, very welcoming. The location was stunning and magical - perfect for seeing the northern lights if you are lucky enough. Breakfast was adequate and staff were attentive to keep it fully stocked. We weren’t fortunate enough to experience the hot tubs and sauna as we arrived later in the evening during a snow storm but the facilities looked nice. Staff communication before and during the stay was amazing and was kind enough to acknowledge it was a birthday visit with a glacier view room and a birthday message.

Everything was great except few small details but overall we enjoyed our stay. Waffles at breakfast were a highlight! Staff was also super helpful! Hot tubs were nice, we even spotted the Aurora.

“Breathtaking views”
The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. The highlight was definitely the amazing view of the Hoffellsjökull glacier — truly breathtaking. We also loved the hot tubs overlooking the glacier, the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Highly recommended!

“Very lovely stopover point!”
Lovely stop along the ring road if you’re doing a road trip. Lovely staff and quick check-in. Spacious room and bathroom with a good breakfast. The hot tub is included if you’re staying with the guesthouse and we saw Aurora from there!!

“A lovely stay with beautiful views”
Perfect location for us. Had a lovely welcome. Used the gorgeous hot tubs which were part of our package and the views were beautiful. Warm, clean bedrooms with a kettle provided. There is no restaurant for dinner (which we knew) but the staff let us use the microwave to make our noodles and there are drinks available at Reception also. Breakfast was great! My daughter enjoyed the waffles. Would 100% recommend.
