Located on a horse farm with views of Eyjafjallajökull Volcano, this hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi access and flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Hvolsvöllur Village is 13 km away. Clean and well maintained. The furniture is a bit outdated, but everything is still comfortable and functional. The breakfast is not very abundant, but it is tasty and enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant stay.

We loved how quiet and serene it was, the view of the mountain was magnificent and it truly felt very peaceful and homey. We loved the breakfast as well with the various home made ingredients and the thought behind everything. There was also a cute white doggy upfront which made the experience even more idilic

“Good enough for a one-time.”
The location seemed very nice, with the farm and animals beside. The decoration was also very authentic and farm-like, we liked the overall atmosphere. Breakfast was good and very qualitative (special mention the home-made skyr!) but lacking some hot options though (scrambled eggs, sausages, ect).

“Nice farm stay, very good accomodation”
The accomodation is very nice, well equipped and clean. Especially the rooms are spacious and very good even for a longer stay. The staff is helpful and kind. The farm has plenty of animals around so perfect for children as well. We recommend to book with the breakfast as it was very delicious and a lot of different food (no warm food though). The location is a bit off the ring road (#1) so less traffic but still easy to find. Close to the Seljalandsfoss.

“Peaceful stay”
Our first farm stay in Iceland, was a peaceful and tranquil experience. The rooms were clean and well-kept, and while the breakfast had limited options, it was satisfying.

“Great breafast”
The room was quite odd with old fourniture and very poor light. We arriving at midnight, having only some message ls from the reception, but finally we succeeded, but the impression was we are in a hounted place 😊. The property is at 15 min drive from Road #1, but the road to the hotel is OK. However in the morning we discovered the beauty of the place, the garden and the landscape and especially the restaurant which is really amazing. We had one of the best breakfasts in Iceland here.

When we arrived we were told we had to drive to nearby place for dinner as restaurant was not open. Also no bar just honesty fridge where you could get a drink but still at iceland astronomical prices about 1600 isk and you had to get can out of fridge yourself, no glass
