Overview
Set at the foot of the Hallandsås ridge off the E6 Motorway, this hostel is 10 minutes’ drive from Ängelholm. It offers a well-equipped communal kitchen, free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Hallandsåsen Hostel is housed in a 1912 meeting hall. All rooms have shared bathrooms. Most rooms have an in-room wash basin. Guests can relax and watch TV in one of the lounges, which also has games and a small library. A free communal internet terminal is available. The large surrounding garden has outside furniture, a playground and a barbecue area. Hallandsåsen Hostel is just 6 km from Lake Västersjön, which provides opportunities for swimming, fishing and canoeing. Other nearby leisure options include hiking and golfing. The surrounding village has a restaurant and a supermarket, while Båstad is 20 minutes' drive away.

Cozy, pleasant atmosphere, everything you need is there. Enough parking space, clear check-in instructions. In the shared kitchen everything is signed, which helps to avoid inconveniences

Super cozy place to stay with plenty of room in common spaces. Clean and nice room and ok breakfast. All together really great value for the price. Feels very comfortable and wouldnt call it a hostel, rather nice bed and breakfast.

The Landlord is very friendly, late night Check-in was easy, the included Do-it-yourself-breakfast is a welcomed Bonus, a supermarket is not far away, looking forward to stay there again

“Hostel with a beautiful green woodpecker in the garden”
Such a well organized hostel with very clean & tidy facilities and a comfortable space. The owner, the keeper at the same time, is a very friendly person. Close to a few restaurants and a mid-size supermarket. Also very close to the highway, and easy to conect to other towns by car.

“Nice, clean uncomplicated.”
The whole booking process with Matz was more then easy. He allowed as to check in very late and gave us a dore code to get in, a day before. The house is a lovely place with a lot of little details all around. Everything was nice and clean. Just the mattresses in the bedroom were a little bit to old and not so comfortable but that’s the only thing you can be mad about. At all a very nice place to stay a few nights having a breakfast, bed and shower. Very nice

Book this place! It's extremely clean and comfortable. Free parking. Very nice breakfast. Nice relaxing area. Very good kitchen. It's much more comfortable than any other hostel or any hotel! The owner is very nice, he took the step to change his office job into creating this beautiful place.

“Great overnight stay for the value.”
Small room but that was what we expected. Beds were comfortable. Check-in was done by code and we left early in the morning. Self service breakfast was nice, we could even sit outside in the sun.
