“Snowfall, Jacuzzi, and a Cozy Apartment Retreat”
Although we only stayed for one night, we truly enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi on the terrace while snow fell around us- a magical experience, even if the northern lights didn’t appear due to the weather. The complimentary coffee machine with capsules was a thoughtful touch, and we loved spending time in our spacious, warm apartment while the storm passed outside.

Arrived late after the trip to Grimsey Island, and they let us use their kitchen! Very welcoming, lovely common areas surrounded by beatiful art and books. Only place where I was able to enjoy a bath. Option for breakfast also available.

I stayed here with my child and husband, and we had a wonderful time. The room was very spacious, the beds were clean, and the interior of the building felt like an art gallery — beautifully designed. The kitchen was well-equipped and convenient for cooking, and we appreciated the large dining table and comfortable chairs. The bathroom was spotless, and the shampoo provided felt luxurious. Every detail, down to the lighting throughout the space, showed how thoughtfully the hotel was designed for guests’ comfort. Although it’s a bit outside of Akureyri city center, the peaceful and quiet surroundings made it all the more special. I would definitely come back to this place on another trip. Highly recommended!

It was exceptionally clean, uncluttered but tastefully decorated. I think it’s worth staying just to peruse the art and books collection on a cozy evening. There was free tea and coffee at all times in the lounge and the owner did actually offer us use of the kitchen. The hot tubs were clean and a good temperature. Parking was easy and access to the building was easy. I would perhaps come again for a cozy winter trip and stay in an apartment with some friends.

“Wonderful stay”
The hotel is easy to locate and offers stunning views. The large suite is equipped with a fully functional kitchen, and the room is exceptionally clean. Showering is very comfortable as well. With excellent value for money, this hotel is absolutely flawless.

“Nice hotel in a beautiful location with excellent staff!”
We booked a two bedroom apartment and it was huge! The biggest bedrooms, living, dining areas and kitchen we had in the entire trip. The kitchen was well equipped, there was even a bbq pit and charcoal provided. The location is a little far from Akureyri town but set in quiet and beautiful surroundings. The hotel itself is interesting, lots of art pieces and cozy corners for reading. Toti was friendly and very helpful with our needs. All in all, we enjoyed our stay!

“Fantastic Stay in Superb Accomodation”
Spacious, modern and super clean accommodation with beautiful views over the fjord. Fantastic bathroom with rain shower. We catered for ourselves with the small kitchenette in the apartment, ate out one night at Eyri Restaurant (also good), and enjoyed a cold beer in the cosy bar. Also had a nice soak in the hot tub. Fantastic Stay. Owner is super accommodating and helpful
