“A charming and magical place away from the city”

Loved the location and quirky style. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The location offers some wonderful walks to stretch your legs after a long drive. The restaurant/bar is charming and has a great menu and offers a lovely breakfast. We definitely will stop again in the future.

Excellent breakfast. Great location for outdoor activities such as hiking; even in the snow! The restaurant was very lovely and rustic, with lovely staff who were very nice to us. The menu did not really suit me, but I am a very veggie oriented person, and this was not really the environment for that.

“Lovely hotel near Koblenz”

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel surrounded by nature near Koblenz. The bedroom was very spacious, the shower was excellent, and everything was spotless and perfectly clean. Communication before our arrival was also great. We had a few questions about check-in as we were arriving late, and the staff were extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful from the very first call. As a lovely extra touch, they surprised me with a small treat for my birthday, which made the stay even more special and truly appreciated. We would love to come back, especially during the warmer months, as the area is beautiful and ideal for walks. Overall, a very nice place where you immediately feel welcome

Excellent breakfast in a cosy forest atmosphere. Spacious room with sofa, kettle to make tea only (but its not an apartment). Possible to walk directly into the forest from the hotel. If you have children, there is a play area. Tasty local fish in the restaurant.

“Magic at the Mill”

The accommodation was beautiful. The family room was more like an apartment with 2 bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. There was a terrace overlooking the forest where you could watch the bats in the evening. We had a meal in the Muehlestube which was superb. Very nice staff and great food.

Location and service

The location is great for an active walking/cycling holiday. The forest trails are literally on the doorstep. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious with a great selection, all in a lovely setting.

This hotel is in the forest. I like this little hut. The room is comfy.
