“Cozy, Comfortable Stay with Excellent Facilities”

I really enjoyed my stay at Danhostel Hillerød! The location is wonderful with easy access to public transportation. It's about a 30-minute walk from the train station (if to skip 302&301 buses), which was perfectly manageable and gave me a chance to enjoy the surroundings. The property feels like a little camp but with a surprisingly high level of comfort and amenities. I stayed during the weekend when breakfast wasn't served, but their shared kitchen was perfectly equipped with plenty of utensils, pots and pans, coffee makers, and kettles to boil water. It had everything I needed to prepare my own meals. My room had individually regulated temperature control, which was great for personal comfort, and all the charging sockets for my devices were in good working order. Overall, a fantastic value stay with thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate comfort and practicality!

“Nice and quiet”

Nice room and bathroom, all very clean. Very quiet location ideally located to friends that we were visiting in Hillerod. Frequent buses from the busstop around the corner will get you to the city centre and train station. Never seen a kitchen that is so well equipped. Fantastic game rooms with table soccer, table tennis and air hockey, all free of charge.

Brilliant location, fantastic kitchen and leisure equipment, kids playground, outdoor essentials. Everything you need, plus room with personal bathroom. Highly recommend!

We were a bit surprised to find that bed linen rental is common in Denmark, but since we were traveling by car, we had brought our own bed linen and towels. Considering that Denmark is indeed a very expensive country — our Christmas trip to London for seven days actually turned out cheaper — we try to save on things like bed linen, towels, and other similar expenses whenever possible. In any case, this was the best, cleanest, and most affordable option in terms of price. Everything was clean, the surroundings were tidy. The kids loved it! A very nice basement with table hockey, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, table tennis, a volleyball net outside — everything was perfect!

Big shared kitchen with all you need to cook food, three large fridges so you can take a box and store your food in the fridge separated from others. There was a freezer also, but it was full. Loved the play areas, lots of space, and different games to play, had fun there 😀 because outside was rainy.
