I had a wonderful stay at Humus Hostel. The place is very clean and well-maintained, and it truly gives you a “home away from home” feeling. The staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help with anything you need. The location is perfect—everything is easily reachable on foot, and there are plenty of activities nearby to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

“relaxing vibes at a walking distance from the beach”
Everything about my stay there was perfect. I stayed there for two weeks and it felt like being at home. Im so grateful for everything! Great people, always with a smile and ready to help you, great location, chill vibes, a kitchen where you are also able to cook, yoga lessons, and so much more! I would highly recommend this place

Amazing location in front of the best wave in Hikkaduwa! Clean and comfortable room which was nice after travelling in Asia a long time and being used to not so nice rooms, these ones are as good as they look in the photos. Staff are helpful/friendly and the relaxing area is a nice place to chill.

One of the best hostels in Sri Lanka; comfortable, clean, modern, spacious and social. I booked 2 nights and ended up staying over a week. There’s a great stall opposite that does the best cheese naan and the staff are great.

“Hikkadua great experience”
Great comfortable place in hikkadua, The hostel is well maintained. Airconditioned room 24hrs Rooms not packed with bunk beds are very comfortable and spacious Bedmattress very very high quality thick and provides very deeo relaxing feeling Yoga class mornings included. Games. Large spaces to relax and meet people. Staff very welcome always somone is on site to help and assist with anything. Good community were a solo traveler like me found new friends and had a great experince.

“Great social hostel for solo travellers”
Great and very social hostel, the chill areas outside the rooms were great and the tea area. The staff were so friendly and helpful and very encouraging with the social events.

Staff were nice but room was dirty and bed sheets were stained. I got sick from drinking the hot water they put out for guests.

My stay there was truly amazing the Hostel owner is a really chilled guy and the whole atmosphere is just really welcoming and familiar Nice people, good food and well located Also the place is huge and the area for the morning Yoga is absolutly beautiful!

Location is great and the staff is absolutely amazing. Food serve is delicious also! Rooms are spacious and beds really comfy. Also the place is very big and you have a lot of places to hang out and socialize but without forcing it. The vibe in general is great!

Very beautiful hostel, we were one the first guests in the hostel, the staff are friendly and rooms are very clean and new, the sitting area on the street is so nice and chilled, i highly recommend
