Everything was fantastic! Great location next to the ocean and beach, large and clean rooms, and a lovely pool area. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful especially manager Rajitha, making sure we had everything we needed or even more. We also loved the room view, the comfy bed, and the ideas to organize activities for guests. Breakfast ok. Would definitely come back!

“Perfect stay”

The room was compact yet beautifully designed, offering great comfort. The pool in the front garden was a relaxing highlight, complete with loungers right in the pool area for ultimate chill time. Staff were friendly and went above and beyond— a hotel employee even drove us via tuk-tuk service to the turtle farm and herbal garden, which was a thoughtful touch. Food was exceptional and the sea views were absolutely breathtaking.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating of any requests. They provide a good breakfast and a complimentary tuk tuk service which is very nice. The property is located on the beachfront which is lovely.

After checking out from the hotel next door, we moved here and it completely changed our experience of Hikkaduwa. The hotel is new and very well maintained. The decoration has a relaxed, beachy vibe that immediately makes you feel on holiday. The pool area is lovely and clean. We were welcomed with fresh fruit juice and beautiful flower necklaces, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our room was on the ground floor with direct beach access. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and stepping straight onto the sand in the morning was amazing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a calm, well-kept beachfront stay.

The property has a really handy free tuktuk service within a 5km range from the hotel. The beach location is lovely. The fresh fruit platter with breakfast was amazing.

Great Location with stunning sea views

The price for this hotel is far too high for the standard you actually receive on site. You can get much better hotels in Sri Lanka for the same money. Unfortunately, the sea is hardly usable due to the strong waves, so you have to take a tuk-tuk to swim elsewhere. The prices at the beach restaurant were also much too high. Local dishes were even more expensive than international ones. In addition, the quality was not good and did not justify the price. Furthermore, we had a cockroach in our bathroom. It probably came through the large opening in the shower. The hotel staff took care of it and removed it, but the bathroom still had an unpleasant smell. This is not acceptable for this price range. The bathroom was also far too small. When you take a shower, everything gets wet. I have seen different hotel categories in Sri Lanka, but if I pay €150 per night, I expect a certain standard. When paying, a card terminal was used where you can normally choose between the local currency and euros, as is common abroad. I selected euros, and the difference compared to the normal price was €25 more. Please make sure to select the Sri Lankan currency instead. I informed the staff that the exchange rate was too high, and we reversed the transaction. However, you first have to notice this. In my opinion, this feels like a trick.

Right on the beach, nice pool on ground floor, one on level 1 was about 18 inches deep and 1 metre wide - ok to sit in but cant really swim in it - I did try though. Room and bed is comfy, clean and I had a sea view ground floor room so I could be in bed and look out at the sea. Note the sea at this point of the beach isn't really safe to swim in due to currents and surge, but there is a red flag to remind you of this. Staff were great, though you do have to ask for room to be cleaned, but we found this pretty normal in Sri Lanka - don't expect it - ask for it. They offer a free tuk tuk to get you into town and you get your own one back. It's only a couple of minutes to town but having this service really makes a difference. There's a small supermarket about 2 minutes walk - recommend getting stuff there rather than in town - the price difference is quite something. We only had breakfast but that was ample amounts and nice. Lovely hotel.

“A magical stay on a beautiful island”

The property is a little way from the centre making it an exceptionally peaceful place. Although it’s peaceful it’s not isolated, we dined at the hotel and could easily walk along the beach in both directions for other places to dine. The tuk tuk to the centre is fantastic. You just let them know the time you want it. Very easy to get one back
