“Simply enchanting…!! Would go back tomorrow if I could…!!!”

Le Manoir de la Douve is an absolute gem…..as was the extremely helpful, thoughtful and engaging host! I booked Le Manoir de la Douve more in hope than expectation primarily due to its proximity to the Eurotunnel and the fact that, as a motorcycle rider leaving my motorcycle somewhere safe over night is of prime importance! I couldn’t have been happier with my choice! Le Manoir is nestled discreetly in its own tranquil grounds and surrounded by woodlands, a lake and pastures. My room was very large, comfortable and the large modern shower was a real treat after a long ride! A very comfortable sleep was followed by the wonderful sight of a young deer sleeping in the long grass. Absolutely beautiful….! The breakfast was a real joy with fabulous baguettes, cheeses, fresh orange juice (served in my own decanter) and fresh coffee all served on a beautifully laid table with candles! Simply superb…….!! 👍

“A perfect stay”

A wonderful old manor with plenty of character and period features. High ceilings with big windows and green views, what a dream! And the quiet, I just loved being there. Breakfast is delicious and beautifully served.

Truly exceptional place, authentic and well presented by hosts. As we truly love nature and history, this hotel was perfect for us. If there will be next time, will also bring our kids along. Clear communication for english speaking guest. It was our first time in Belgium and were glad we chose to stay here.

The host was suuuuper friendly, we had a wonderful stay, the place is so peaceful. The host made me an early breakfast because i didn't have time to eat before going to work, that was very nice of him! The room was very clean and very romantic. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Beverages were provided. There are many great restaurants nearby. And if u are a big fan of nature and hiking, you're at the perfect place! Merci for everything! And we will visit again. I recommend this place to everyone 100/100

“Beautiful and peaceful getaway”

François was the perfect host: very friendly and helpful. The manor is beautiful and beautifully decorated and in a superb setting. We loved the bar billiard table and the absolute quietness during the night. Vegan options at sumptuous breakfast were much appreciated. FIrst time I've ever had locally produced oat milk - and it was very good.

Very friendly host. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast with local products and a huge park to wander around. A place with a lot of charm, three rooms and soon with a glamping tent.
