“Exceptionally clean apartment and lovely hosts”

The apartment was exceptionally clean. The hosts had deposited the keys in a lock box, which was very convenient because of my late arrival. They stopped by later to check if everything was alright and were very lovely. There are 2 supermarkets right around the corner, so shopping was no problem. The train station is easily reached on foot if you travel without a car and want to get to Lübeck by train. The vast forest and former inner German border around the corner make for a lovely walking and running area for outdoor/history enthusiasts. You can park right next to the house, which is also very convenient to unload the car.

Everything about the place was simply perfect. It is also a fantastic location. You can get there by car without a problem and then easily drive in no time to the historic city of Lübeck, make your way to nice places like the small town of Eutin by a lovely lake, or simply drive to Kiel. And since you are right by the station for the Regio train, super quiet, can't here it go by, but you walk there in about a minute and the train takes about 13 minutes to the main train station in Lübeck. You walk right into the historic town or switch to a train just about anywhere across the north of Germany. Hamburg is also just an hour away and so is the airport in Hamburg. Train or car, this is a perfect location. The owners are very, very nice and super accommodating, helpful, even greeted us with a nice bottle of wine and a large bottle of fresh, bottled water. Any question we had was answered instantly. And the place is so very quiet and just lovely. Not to forget, loads of grocery shopping within two minutes to walk.
