Very nice location and easy going host. Relaxed atmosphere with the horses outside. Everything is clean. Heating worked well. The room is averagely sized. The beds were good. The common room/kitchen is very usable.

Great host, location and facilities. Common area is clean and has everything for cooking, rooms are clean, sauna is very oriental. Would be good to have a nightstand in the room, I used a chair as alternative :)

First of all: Caterine's horses are amazing. I joined two rides and I was very well looked after. The best way to enjoy Sweden's nature! She and her team are also very kind and uncomplicated, what I appreciated a lot. I stayed at a twin room which was simple but comfy (I slept very good on the mattress although I have a sensitive back) and situated in a secluded building with shared kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a huge eating area where you can also hang around, play board games, plan your days etc. If you prefer to sit outside , there is also an area just in front with tables and chairs (and even a playground for kids). You can borrow sheets and towels (small fee). Everything was very clean. Maybe there are some "tools" missing in the kitchen, but it is sufficiently equipped and for this price totally fine. They provide everything necessary to clean up the dishes, which is not always the case in other places. I arrived by bus from Stockholm which is possible, but be aware they don't drive very often, especially during the weekend. I went swimming at the nearby, very attractive sandy beach and visited the small, but beautiful Fiskruddens Nature Reserve. There are also several signalled hiking routes (e.g. Kulturstig), but I didn't find out where they start :-D. A small supermarket is in only 8min walking distance. I found everything I needed for three days. Just don't forget to bring insect repellent in summer - as everywhere else in Sweden.

I was looking for a place for 1 night, close by to the ferry I was taking the following day to Aland. And which was pet friendly. One is lodged in a separate building on the farm, which has 3 rooms for rent and two bathrooms. Me and pets were alone that night so we had the place for ourselves. The comfort is basic but the place is clean and has a fully equipped kitchen, which was convenient to prepare our evening meal. It's a bit out of the way but wifi is working nicely and my dogs were very curious smelling all the animals on the farm, especially the horses.
