“Good value for the price”
Staff was wonderful, great with a big sink in each room, great location if you have a car with you, good acces to grocery stores and take out with in 15 min walk. Shared kitchen and lounge area with all the amenities

“A peacefull place to stay in Herning”
The Højhuset Kulturhotel ist located in a wild area where we can see animals around :) I saw a hare running around the evening I arrived. Of course, there are sheeps around as well. A huge parking for several cars, and just accross the street 2 bus Stop for the city center of Herning (5mins). The room on the 12th floor had all what I needed. A beautifull view, a confortable bed, a warderobe for my clothes, a chair, a table and a sink to clean up. On the same floor a little lounge with armchairs to sit and relax with a mini bar or coffee machine, WCs and showers. The breakfast was delicious and very healthy. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. There was also a Lounge on the Ground Floor where people can gather or play or even go outside on the huge garden and take some fresh air.

“Live in the 1960s...”
The design and structure is a marvel, originally built as a dormitory for high school students in 60s. I loved the simplistic and minimalistic layout. Easy check in , easy check out, perfect breakfast, not fancy, but just perfect, very good value for the money.

“Art, Architecture, 60s modernist architecture. lovely but quiet bit of Denmark.”
High Modernism, Danish Style. Love it or hate it, we loved it. Loved the board marked concrete, the beautifully designed study rooms, the double height space and the stair. The fire in the communal living room is wonderful. The amazing views from the tower, the art pieces in the gardens, the amazing modernist sculptures in the foyer!!
