“Beautiful Guest House”

The property was in an fantastic location close to the town for shops and restaurants. The breakfast was the very best breakfast that I have ever had in a guest house. The rooms where tastefully done and all the little things like fresh milk in the fridge and biscuits and chocolate where a bonus. The owner and staff where all very welcoming.

“Outstanding place to stay - and I mean it!”

Our Hermanus bed and breakfast is a beautiful outstanding place to stay. I have written over 2,000 reviews for TripAdvisor and can honestly say that this bed and breakfast is the most beautiful, exceptional, outstanding place my wife and I have ever enjoyed. I cannot praise the place too highly! Located within a few minutes walk of Hermanus town centre on a quiet road the house looks unassuming from the outside. (Easy free parking on the street) but inside the place is wonderful in every aspect. My pictures show just how beautiful the internal and external decor is. There is a relatively large swimming pool but instead of having sun loungers there are sofas to lie upon! The lounge area is a beautiful library, the dining area is light and airy, and the breakfasts were simply outstanding. My wife would recommend the fruit platter, personally I succumbed to the excellent pancakes! Our bedroom had a huge king size double bed with comfortable pillows. There was good wardrobe space, excellent wi-fi, a flat screen TV, a fridge, tea and coffee facilities together with biscuits and nibbles, an outside garden area private to our room and an inside patio also private to our room. The bathroom had a shower wash basin and toilet. Leigh also provided a laundry service to us for just a few pound sterling.at The style of the room was beautiful. The owner, Leigh, used to be an interior designer – and it shows. As if all this wasn't enough Leigh provides free chilled white wine during the afternoon as you lounge around the pool and together with her amazing assistant, Steven, provides for all your needs. We felt that we were sharing her house and yet it was free and easy! I don't normally write reviews which are so gushing, but this place absolutely deserves it. We paid £292 for a three night stay and my advice to anybody reading this review is to book early to avoid any disappointment.

“A lovely tranquil oasis with amazing attention to detail to ensure the comfort of guests”

The breakfast was a work of art - starting with a bowl of about 15 varieties of fruit. followed by a choice of smoothies/fruit juice and 5 varieties of cooked breakfast. The rooms and general environment was stunning. Staff very friendly and attentive.
