My family were warmly welcomed by Tanja and Rob, a very friendly Dutch couple. They made a delicious dinner of salmon, roast potatoes, and vegetables. My son enjoyed visiting the animals on the farm and jumping on the trampoline. The b&b is stylish, comfortable, and well furnished. Thanks for a great stay! We hope to return

Beautiful place, amazing furniture and de oration and very friendly hosts

A beautiful old French farm house in a truly idyllic setting. We stayed in a freshly refurbished room that was stylish and modern but retained the country charm - with a comfy big bed, coffee machine, fridge, brand new bathroom with a huge shower. The house itself is full of history and character, the old farm buildings around are fascinating to see. There are lovely chickens, friendly horses and sweet cats and dog, with wildlife all around. At night, we had an incredible view of the milky way because of complete darkness, we were able to spend time in the garden stargazing and saw a great number of shooting stars. The only sounds to be heard at night are the gentle chirping of crickets and frogs. Tanja and Rob are very welcoming and they did not hesitate to help us with anything we needed, including finding a local dinner reservation. We had the breakfast which was wonderful. It's also close to the historic village of Herrison, well worth visiting. Just book their place, you will not regret it.

Friendliness of the hosts. Nice and cosy place. We stayed in the ‘Chic’ room which had all the comfort and necessities. Possibility to dinner at the venue is a plus.

The place is peaceful, very nice, and extremely well located if you want to hike or bike in the Allier region. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, decorated with a lot of taste, and very clean. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious. We spent an amazing time at the Grands Perrons Domaine

Perfect peace in the countryside, a charming rustic retreat, great hosts and an excellent breakfast. We had great weather and sat outside enjoying the sun in the evening. Herisson and Montlucon are in easy reach and it was a great place to break our journey South.

“Delightful place to stay after a long drive”

Great welcome from the hosts. Beautiful location, peaceful but not far from the motorway and easy to find. Very good evening meal in the garden. We needed a separate room for one family member and that worked well for us: we had our own entrances and bathrooms. Historic farm buildings converted with great flair but also with modern comforts. Excellent breakfast with eggs from their chickens and lots more, delivered to our very spacious family room. We look forward to staying again in the future.

“the perfect place to do very little.....”

Welcomed open armed by Rob and Tanja, the dogs and chickens, we felt instantly at home. Based in an old farmhouse surrounded by cows, grassy fieldso and a huge sky, Les Grands Pérons was a wonderfully relaxed and cosy night at a great price. 3 of us ate there and dined on salmon, roasted baby taters and more green beans than we could make disappear all washed down with a crisp glass (or two) of rosè followed by homemade creme brûlée at a very decent price. The room was spanking clean with ample hot water in the batroom and a very comfortable bed. Our son was made to feel at home too which is always important. We'll be back.....
