Overview
This historic villa from 1873 is beautifully situated in Heringsdorf, on a small hill directly in front of Europe's longest beach promenade. OSTKÜSTE - Villa Staudt Design Apartments is just metres from Heringsdorf pier and the town centre, here on the island of Usedom. The German emperor Wilhelm II was invited here for tea every year between 1909 and 1912. Nowadays the property boasts 16 light-flooded, spacious, fully-lofted lofts, 2-room and maisonette apartments. The interiors feature historical treasures, such as the original posters of the 1972 Olympic Games held in Munich. The apartments range in size from 40 m² to 130 m², and are charmingly equipped with classic contemporary design and a large number of beautiful furniture pieces. Most of the apartments have a lovely Baltic Sea view, whereas the others enjoy evening sunshine and a view of Heringsdorf's historic park. Many restaurants and shopping opportunities can be found near OSTKÜSTE - Villa Staudt Design Apartments. Heringsdorf Train Station is 1 km away.

“Perfect choice!”
Villa Staudt is an absolutely amazing historical villa with the stunning sea view, right in the center of Heringsdorf. We stayed in maisonette No. 10 and we simply loved it. The apartment is beautifully designed, clean and very spacious. Its kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything one needs for a short holiday. Car parking is easy, right in front of the hotel. The cost is 10 EUR/day. There is a bakery conveniently located within 3 minutes walking distance from the villa. Many restaurants and cafés are nearby. Nevertheless, this particular apartment (top floor maisonette) is not for everybody because of the lack of privacy - the bathroom and WC are a part of the upper bedroom's open space, so shy people would suffer. It is also not suitable for people with mobility issues. Still, there are other apartments in the villa that are accessible even for wheelchair users.

“Scandinavian-style apartment in a lovely villa close to the beach”
We liked several things: the open Scandinavian-style of the apartment, that it is in a lovely villa, the short distance to the beach (just a couple of meters), and walking distance from the train station. We had apartment 13 in Villa Staudt. This loft apartment is over two floors: downstairs is a well-equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, toaster, tea kettle etc) with a beautiful large wooden table. Upstairs is a large room that is bedroom and living room combined. We had read reviews that disliked the shower-sink-toilet setup, but this worked fine for us and we actually liked having all separate. Everything was very clean. The location is quiet and we slept very well here.

“Tasteful get-away with superb location”
Great historic Villa with spacious apartment that is tastefully decorated. It makes you feel at home immediately. Ultra high ceilings. Parking spaces available. Location is superb right at the promenade. Loved it - and you will too.

“Very Lovely Stay in a Fabulous Location”
The apartment was large and tastefully decorated with high quality furnishings, appliances and kitchen items. Beds were very comfortable. Fabulous location. Staff were responsive. I actually liked the bathrooms pods with slick shower. The building itself is beautiful and very well maintained.

“Outstanding apartment - immaculate and comfortable”
Fantastic apartment. Clean and immaculately presented. Comfortable bed and sofa. Kitchen had enough equipment for a few days self- catering. All fittings looked new. There was no noise at all from other apartments. We had a short walk to the beach promenade and walked along to the Polish border from the property. Easy access to the beach and sea but too cold to swim in January.

“Heavenly stay at Villa Staudt-Dankeschön!!!”
I had visited Herringsdorf before and had always admired the stately Villa Staudt. The gorgeous villa is surrounded by trees and has a magnificent wrap-around garden facing the Baltic Sea. I love everything about this location and the villa itself. Each of the apartments is furnished with care and charm. It has everything for your stay. I have been traveling for many years; Villa Staudt is furnished with immaculate love for detail, and quality one rarely finds. Herr Huseman, the greeter and man for everything, was super friendly and professional. I'll be back for sure!!
