“Wonderful place to stay for great service in a historic building”

We love this hotel. The staff are so great and friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast has a fabulous selection to meet anyone's taste and I can only eat gluten free and special bread was provided without issue. The hotel is very central but it is still quiet and it is great to be able to park on-site. This was our third stay and we would not think of staying anywhere else,

A lovely traditional-style hotel in the centre of Herford, but very quiet. Opposite a large church, but I didn't hear any bells tolling until 7am. Free car park for guests at the rear.

The Staff, location and rooms were very good. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and variable. The tea & coffee facilities down stairs net to the reception was very thoughtful. The mini bar was well stocked.

A lovely hotel, full of charming character , staff and host very friendly, very welcoming and super helpful, The hotel is situated in the old historic area of herford close to the münster kirche, Rathaus and the Alter markt , it's very clean and tidy , rooms are a good size , bathroom is modern and shower is very good , parking is to the rear of the hotel and is free, Breakfast is continental, with a good variety of choices Would highly recommend staying here , to family,friends and others

Exceptionally well fitted out, free parking on-site when on-line registration done. Renovated historic building in central area, very elegant town house in quiet part. We arrived late Sunday evening, the instructions how to let ourselves in via intercom worked well. Breakfast excellent.

The hotel is a beautifully restored period building in a perfect location. There was an excellent welcome. The breakfast was in a beautiful room with a generous table of everything one could have wished. The staff always took time to express interest in my programme. The room was very comfortable and scrupulously clean.

The team are friendly and very helpful. I have a special dietary requirement and they were able to provide a choice of special bread for me each day. The breakfast is amazing with so many different elements, we stayed for a week and and ate something different each day. The room was spacious and very clean with a lovely view over the town square. The bed was very large and comfortable. The building is so special with it's history, lovely to stay in such a beautiful, important place.

A beautiful old building just a few minutes walk from town centre. Staff were most welcoming: professional and friendly. A lovely touch was the personal notes for guests in reception (not 24 hour). Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is great. Loads of choice and plenty of it. There's a coffee machine available all day. Fürstabtei would suit sole travellers, groups, couples and families.

Everything, location is superb, in the heart of old herford the staff were super friendly and helpful , good sized rooms, nice bathroom with good shower , clean and tidy , the hotel is a beautiful old building with lots of character, nice and varied buffet breakfast , free parking , would definitely stay again and recommend to others,

Everything was ok, maybe a little confusion about the reception... However, everything says on the window. Very good, varied and tasty breakfast.
