“Great hostel, great location to relax and slow down and breathe.”
Great clean comfortable accommodation. Good location near to some great hiking areas. Excellent breakfast and healthy tasty meals available. Super friendly helpful owners and staff. A very calm and peaceful environment. We would gladly return and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The location close to the bus stop, beautiful place. Full of greenery, with charming paintings and atmospheric woodwork that create an incredible atmosphere. The breakfast was very tasty and large – I had the opportunity to try many new things. It's an excellent starting point for hiking trips.

“Lovely, relaxing guesthouse surrounded by nature”
Beautiful guesthouse with modern and clean rooms, perfect as a base for hiking and relaxing. The meals were home-cooked, delicious and a variety of vegetarian options were available. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, the staff made us feel so welcome and were exceptionally kind, thank you so much! We’ll be back!

“A unique fascinating place to stay”
This is a great place to stay. Staff were very helpful and very much made you feel at home. If you are travelling by public transport, the property is a few minutes walk from the bus stop. The building itself is interesting in that it has been built so as not to cut trees down, so there are living trees growing up through the hotel. Lots of interesting objects and artwork, making it a fascinating place to stay. Meals are available

This was a beautiful and tranquil homestay in rural Taiwan. The residence was well kept and had a loved, laid back vibe that had me feeling super relaxed after a long day's hike. The staff here were lovely and very kind. If I ever return to this area I would love to stay here again.

This is beautifully located and charmingly idiosyncratic guest house. Perfect as a home base for hikes around Guguan.

A very unique, random but cool place in a remote "village". To get there, you cross the bridge over the river with a stunning view. It's close to beautiful hikes and they provide a solid healthy breakfast. Lunch and dinner as well if you want, with veggies from their own garden. Downstairs is filled with taiwanese artifacts and statues and upstairs is a gallery. It's very relaxed and an experience to stay here if you love hiking! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! A bit over 2hrs from Taichung with a direct bus to Lileng, 7 minute walk from bus stop Lileng.

“Nice quiet space”
Very friendly owner (has a lot to share about alternative health practices, offered me their scooter when they knew I was going places by foot), quiet place, quite some hiking routes around (guguan mountains, walking distance to a peaceful stream)

“Good base for exploring!”
Great location for exploring the nearby mountains. Friendly (even though the English of the staff is very limited). Good breakfast (and good hot pot dinner). Nice and clean room. Hikers atmosphere.
