Overview
Helsingør Camping & Cottages Grønnehave is located by the Øresund strait, only 1 km from central Helsingør. It offers a large terrace, private parking and a variety of recreational activities. All cottages at Helsingør Cottages Grønnehave have a private terrace as well as a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, hot plates and tea/coffee maker. Most cottages overlook the sea or the Kronborg Castle. Guests can bring their own bed linen and towels or simply rent them at Helsingør Camping & Cottages Grønnehave. General facilities at Helsingør Camping & Cottages Grønnehave include a convenience store, bike rental and a children’s playground. A laundry room with ironing equipment is also found on site. Tennis courts and swimming pools are only a short walk away. The Grønnehave Cottages are just next to the beach esplanade that leads to the marina, the Øresund Aquarium and the Casino Marienlyst.

“Superb place for sightseeing and relaxation next to the sea”
Superb place for sightseeing and relaxation next to the sea. Plenty to do in the local area and great for walks, cycling and swimming too. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. Quiet after 10pm too

The location was perfect right by the beach and close to the lovely harbour area and only a short walk to the centre. We stayed in a little cabin and it was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The staff at the camping were very nice too and there was a great little shop in the reception.

“A great seaside getaway”
Cosy comfortable cabin. Small campground. Very quiet. By the sea. Great location & a very short walk to Helsingor town centre. Lovely restaurants & bakery close by. And Hamlet Castle nearby. Loved staying here.

“Well-equipped and comfortable cottage close to the sea and the city.”
We made a try with a camping accommodation with some doubts. But this little cottage was beyond our expectations. There was heating, and a well-equipped cooking & dining area, and a functional, but comfortable bath within the little house. All these made our stay very comfortable. The area is fantastic, we are considering returning to this place in the summertime as well.

Great alternative to hostel since you can split cost of cabin among group. Also, consider as alternative “home base” if you’re sightseeing in Copenhagen for a few days.
