“beautiful apartment in west iceland”

The location right on the seafront is fantastic, the parking is quite large but shared with the apartment next door. The apartment is really large and has everything you need.

“I loved having the books and the music CDs and the guitar in addition to all the other nice things.”

Really this is simply a lovely spot - right above the ocean but not heavily built up and with some history, a nice view of Snæfells in the other direction. The facility is fancy and comfortable and homey feeling at the same time. I felt in a very peaceful place while here.

“Best view ever!”

Amazing place and a beautiful town, view is exceptional with the sunset on one side and a glacier on the opposite, quiet neighbourhood, an amazing terrace! The apartment is one single ambient and I liked that, but not the best option for other type of traveler’s I guess, the kitchen has the basics. There is a nice telescope.

Great location and the view is fantastic. We saw whales and a seal from the balcony and the sound of the waves is so relaxing. The only negative point was that the view from the bedroom windows was affected by dirty and/or failed glazing. However, we still really enjoyed our stay. 😀

“Absolutely fantastic”

I absolutely loved the apartment! It is located on a cliff in a quiet place. Yes you have neighbours but you will only see/hear them at the front of the house. The backside looks out over the sea. Great spot to see the northern lights. As with many apartments you don't see the host throughout your stay. I like that. Your door opens with a code. All basic necessities can be found in the kitchen, also a series of books to read and a telescope to watch the stars or birds, boats at sea. The apartment is very spacious with many places to sit. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night. I would love to come back and stay for a week and settle on the couch with a book :-)

“Disappointing”

The building was cheaply built a long time ago. The furniture is very old and worn, sometimes broken. Windows and terrace very dirty. The worst are the towels- completely frayed. It is expensive for what it offers even für Iclandic standards. We had rented much better places for less money. Check the pictures. Somebody is trying very hard to keep it neat, but it can't cover the problem. I recommend to avoid this place.

The apartment is spatious and very functional. A lot of kitchenwear, incl a good coffee machine, CDs, books, etc. The deck on the ocean is beautiful, at high tide we were regularly visited by a couole of Grey seals, but it was a nice spot to look at birds (Eiders with chicks, Artic terns, various gulls incl glaucous, redshank, starling, etc etc). The position is great to visit the central/western part of the peninsula.

“Peaceful stay in a good sized unit, perfect for families.”

Location was a bit out of the way but there was a lovely patio to look out to the beach. Facilities in the unit were adequate.

The property was easy to locate, and the ocean view was great. The Kitchen was well-equipped, and the living room was spacious.

Amazing apartments with a huge amount of space. Absolutely perfect for families

The cleanliness of the place. There were bugs flying around the rooms, so we had to place a light far away from the bed to attract them. The actual place has gorgeous views and is setup in a pretty way, however no towels were provided.

A perfect starting location to visit the beutiful landscape and sights of the peninsula. As its name indicates, a spectecular ocean view, if you are lucky, you can spot some seals and the northern light from the balcony. Roomy, clean, a good choice overall.

the view to the sea is amazing, we could watch seals and birds at all times of the day… we would definitely come again!

“Fabulous”

The breathtaking view on the ocean. Tha apart is very spacious,warm,clean,well equipped. Tha apart is easy to find. There's a number of beatiful beaches and rocks not far from the apart.
