“Nice views”
Nice views, you can actually see one of the great waterfalls in the horizont. About 20 min drive to waterfalls Seljaldsfoss and Gljúfrabúi and the coast/ main road 1. Remote location in the countryside. I had a room in the hotel building but can imagine it is a nice location for campers in the summer. Friendly staff, the breakfast was simple but enough for me. Dinner was good and great local choices, friendly service. Stayed for 2 nights.

“Will highly recommend, we stayed 2 nights and loved it”
We really liked this place. Everything was authenticall, cosy and comfortable.The room was a nice nice, and contained everything we needed. The view was great, and we saw northern light directly from the room. The best thing was the restaurant right next door. It was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious, both breakfast and dinner. Parking right next door. We would highly recommend this place.

Breakfast was surprisingly good. A warm scrambled egg is a rare treasure in Iceland, and the food variety was excellent. Also, the room was wonderfully warm, which we genuinely appreciated.

The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area, yet close to main attractions. The room was pleasant, clean, with internet access and TV. Everything was tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent – delicious food served in a beautiful restaurant. Overall, a very nice stay!

“Nice stay for a night during our road trip”
It was a nice one night stop for our road trip around Iceland. The breakfast was really good and diverse. We also ended up having dinner in the restaurant, and the food was great even then.
