The weather went "North" and I never made it there. Looked like fun.

Location is beautiful and an adventure in winter. We will remember it for a long time. Kids loved having their own cabin. Owner super helpful and responsive.

The location was beautiful! We have seen the prettiest northern lights ever in this cabin. The kitchen also stood out, it was very clean and had everything you needed.

This place is amazing for someone that wants to get e real feeling of Icelandic nature. It's comforts are well beyond our expectations and the hosts are more than willing to help you with anything you might need. A remote cottage, technically in the middle of nowhere, with few houses nearby. We even got to see the northern lights from just outside our cabin.

the cabin was super dirty when we arrived, it wasn't locked. Once inside we noted that actually the guest has to clean for the next guest... so watch out when booking this place. it is a diy place and not what I call a booking.com standard place - especially considering the price. we eventually didn't stay and booked an alternative on our own cost.

since it is located in the middle of a farm, there is no light pollution at night. thus, we managed to see the aurora clearly.

Very nice cottage in the middle of nothing, quiet place and beautiful location to see northen lights. There’s anything you need for cooking and the cabin is very comfortable. The communication with the owner was best during our trip in Iceland, he supported me with all things I need to do. Thanks so much for this experience.

The location of the cabin offers some nice views and interesting walks around. There's a river nearby as well, making a nice location for those wanting to spend sometime in nature

The location was absolutely amazing. It is in the middle of nowhere, with the most beautiful landscape. We were able to see the northern lights. The house has everything if you like to cook and it was warm and cozy inside the cabin. In the main cabin you have the living room/ kitchen with a sofa-bed, bathroom and shower. Outside you have a small cabin with four individual beds.

The cabin is not that remote but far away from other people so it really feels like a wilderness experience. We were able to clearly see aurora as well. Host was easy to reach and helpful.
