“Cozy cozy house”
Harpa was a fantastic host, we asked for a snow shovel to clear the snow and a lovely friend of hers dropped it off the next day. The house was always warm and the bed was more comfortable than ours back home with fantastic quality goose feather duvets. Loved the radiator near the boot rack so your boots were dry and warm in the morning. Top tip for the hot tub. The geo thermal water is very got but we just filled it and left it for a few hours and the temperature was perfect

Amazing house, close to the city with gas station and grocery store. Beds were comfortable and jacuzzi was just a bonus. There wasn't a single thing we missed in the house. Communication with the owner was also great. We really enjoyed our stay there and will return.

Everything was amazing. On the second night we saw enormous aurora. The beds were comfortable. Place was really clean. Owners reaction to our message was really quick. Hot tube was perfect. Come to Iceland it is magical on this place✨✨

The place had everything for a comfortable stay. The owner was also very welcoming and had prepared the place with cookies and chocolates. They had also kept a lot of extras in case we ran out which was very considerate.

“Cozy house is a country idyll!”
The location was perfect for this part of our trip around Iceland - we were going on a guided excursion that would start and finish in Hella, and it was so easy to just walk to the pick-up/ drop-off point at the crossroads. The cottage was bigger than I had anticipated and so comfortable - really ideal for either a small family, group of friends or two couples as in our case. It was especially nice to have choices of different areas to sit and relax - everyone felt like they could have space and comfort. The village of Hella is scenic - we enjoyed walking around by the riverside, seeing some art and meeting some Icelandic horses too. It's also very convenient for the nearby village of Hvolsvöllur, where there are some additional attractions, places to eat or shop. Our host was so helpful in answering all of our questions and giving us some great tips. We were really happy with the whole experience!

Location, ample parking, quiet and close to golden circle attraction and the famous waterfall , black beach, Viks are within an hour drive. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, we feel very much like home.

Such a cosy and beautiful house. It was all nice and warm when we arrived. The bedding was super fresh. The location was beautiful, looking into a river and the village of Hella is so lovely, lots of twinkling lights. The house was also bigger than expected with very good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Amazing value for money, would definitely return.
