“We really enjoyed our stay here!”
Charming cabin in a remote area. Exactly what we were looking for. There was a bit of driving involved to get there, but we did not mind. Communication with the owners prior to the trip was very good, they made sure we found the cabin easily. The location is close enough for trips to the glacier lagoon, the Golden Circle, Selfoss, Vestmanneyjar island the black beach and Hella, where one can catch the highland busses for day trips into the mountainous areas. Still so much we missed to visit, so we might have to come back. Spacious rooms which are perfect for a family of 4 or 5, very comfortable beds, clean bathroom and kitchen with all necessary supplies. We could not ask for more. There even was an outdoor grill and a jacuzzi, but we did not get the chance to use it (we've been out quite a lot). And nothing beats early morning coffee on the terrace while enjoying the magnificent view and the birds singing <3

Very nice and quiet place to stay. It had a hot tub with a nice view. It had all needed equipment.

Nice appartment at a remote location. Well situated if you want to visit Landmannalaugur via the easy route; F26&F208 (probably also doable with a 2WD). Large garden, nice hot tub, and two horses that like attention at the premises.

The host put some attention to detail, especially in regards to wall hooks. The was an outside grill for cooking and the host came over to show us how to operate it.

“Comfortable chalet with a friendly touch”
Nice wooden chalet overlooking the mountains in the distance. The house was spacious enough for our family of four. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Their dog and horses proved to be an amazing bonus for the kids.
