“Great stayover in Hell Ville”

A very reasonable price and fantastic value for money, especially for short stays between trips. Very affordable and tasty lunch and dinner options. Pleasantly cool pool - which is not a common thing in Nosy Be. The staff don't speak much English but were nonetheless super helpful and tried their best to communicate. A large supermarkt and ATM are 20 minute walk away (only in daylight!). Wifi worked well!

Having your own private space is nice, and even though the staff didn’t speak particularly good English and we couldn’t speak particularly good French, they still tried to help us translate as much as possible, and were very polite

Didn't really know what to expect and after seeing the rest of Nosy B I could explain the accomodation. It was in a wooden structure . Meals and facilities great but basic,

“Pleasant stay in Hell-ville”

For the price, a very pleasant stay, lively staff and good food. Was close enough to the port for our onward journey and they kindly helped with all transportation. The garden is exotic and beautiful. The kettle and tea/coffee was appreciated.

The hotel offers a good value for its price. Breakfast was nice and affordable, with a variety of options to choose from. Payment is only in cash, but euros are accepted and change is given correctly. The bungalow has a mosquito net around the bed, which is useful, and a small bottle of water is provided.

I stayed here after spending 8 weeks volunteering on Nosy Komba. It was a perfect place to relax and unwind. Really nice friendly staff. Big room and bathroom. Tuktuks to the main strip of bars & restaurants varied, but no more than 10,000 Ariary. I'm sure you could walk there via the beach route, but I never tried. Good laundry service and good food.

big room with big bed and fan as it was very hot. Nice breakfast and fresh juice in the morning. organised tuk tuk for onward travel.

“Central rustic accommodation with small swimming pool”

Rustic cabin style accommodation up some steep stone paved stairs. Mosquito net encompasses double bed plus upright fan. Small outdoor deck. Long narrow bathroom with stone paved walls and floor of shower. Good restaurant on premises and dinner menu was delicious flavours. Small swimming pool. About a 5 minute walk from a produce market and 10 to 20 walk to main Hellville town.

The rooms were very nice and spacious, and the en-suite bathroom was nice, too.

The staff, there was a young guy there in particular who is just so welcoming, friendly and each time I stayed there carried my very heavy luggage on his shoulders up to the bungalow. What you get from the price you pay, is far beyond.

We had a great one night stay at Les bungalows d'Ambonara, quiet location, surrounded by a nice garden, delicious breakfast at the pool, lovely and helpful staff. Can only recommend!
